One of the first decisions made in wedding planning is the choice of the color scheme. Choosing colors is often the jump off point for the wedding planning because once the colors have been decided upon, the bride and bridal party can began to envision the wedding in a very real sense. Gowns choices become more tangible because now you are dreaming in colors and the colors add to the realness of the day. After searching and getting the opinions of the top wedding sites and experts, there are a few color trends that seem to continue to pop up in some shade or form. So we'd like to share what we've seen as some of the popular colors in flowers and bridesmaids gowns for 2019 nuptials and here are a few of our favorites.

Spring 2019
Green in different shades is popular in each season in it's own right for 2019. For Spring and Summer, Sage is being paired with gold, dusty rose and holding it's on against cream and black. Although gold is bold, it doesn't have to be the primary color and works well as an accent color with sage. Sage and dusty rose, are the soft hues of spring that denotes sophistication. Another take is to add a dash of mustard with sage being the accentuated in the midst of Ivory and black. Check it out in each of these colors ideas.

Minty and Sage greens with Peaches and Dusty Rose and Gold. So very light and elegant.

Summer 2019
Can you believe that Yellow is making such a come back and not just as an accent color? Yellow and Gray has been a favorite color option for a while in the wedding industry. The contrast between the brightness of the yellow and the calmness of the neutral gray makes for a very classic but safe wedding color scheme. Next year however, yellow is taking center and paired with bright colors such as orange, magenta and purples using those colors as accents to the yellow. I believe these color combinations will up the celebratory vibe for the summer 2019 wedding! You can't help but feel the joy with such bright joyous colors!

Fall 2019
Emerald Green-yes! Emerald green is not just a December wedding color. Because the color is so strong it works well with more than one complimenting color. Picture this…Emerald, Melon and Gold. Can't picture it? Take a look!

Winter- We have one word for Winter 2019- Magenta! This is not red, or fushia but a mixtue of red and purple hues that is amazing eye candy. Magenta speaks boldness and elegance and is beautiful with gold or silver accents. I see magenta gowns, against a silvery backdrop and in my mind it's amazing. We have magenta gown inspiration and it's pure perfection!
